The ‘Sustaining the Momentum of Anti-Racism in Business’ symposium is brought to you by students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina Central University for a singular purpose, to address inequities in corporate systems and the role we can play as conduits for change.
In 2020 marches and protests were ignited by the unjust killings of George Floyd, Breanna Taylor and other black people by police. Demonstrations resulted in the removal of offensive historical symbols, calls for companies to adjust insensitive branding, and corporate sponsored initiatives to combat structural racism.
Join us to:
Raise awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace,
Learn how to handle difficult situations,
Gain an appreciation of the role you can play to combat racism in the workplace and beyond.
