Max Lewin ‘23 is a business administration and political science double major from Charlotte, North Carolina. His professional interests include clean energy consulting and environmental law. Max decided to become a Kenan Scholar because he believes public-private partnerships are essential to solving social justice and environmental issues and that the Kenan Scholars program will provide the skills and opportunities he needs to be successful.
In addition to being a Kenan Scholar, Max is also a UNC Honors Carolina student, serves as executive social justice advocate of the Residence Hall Association and is on the executive branch of the UNC Undergraduate Student Government. Max is a recipient of both the Tonda Taylor Scholarship and the SECU Service Scholarship. Max’s hobbies include playing piano, socializing, running and painting.
