Thomas provides writing and research services for the Kenan Institute across a variety of projects and initiatives.
Prior to coming to the institute, Thomas worked for five years as a research assistant, analyst and consultant in political economy and public policy. He has worked in government, academia and the private sector, and his projects have spanned numerous issue areas, including financial regulation, healthcare, labor and workers’ rights, technology and veterans’ services. He is generally interested in interdisciplinary, innovative research that utilizes a variety of approaches to investigate the world and address complex issues.
Thomas earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and computer music & multimedia from Brown University.
