In a continuing effort to examine the business sector's contributions to inclusive economic growth, the second annual Conference on Market-Based Solutions for Reducing Wealth Inequality will bring top researchers and private sector representatives to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for two days of discussions and exploration April 25-26.
The conference, presented by the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, will take place at the Rizzo Center hotel and conference center.
As part of the Kenan Institute's mission of bringing insights from research to the broader public sphere, the conference will feature speakers from academia and the public and private sectors as well as a trip into the community for on-site presentations in Chatham County, a fast-growing area south of Chapel Hill.
With the urgency of addressing wealth inequality and fostering inclusive economic growth continuing to grow, the conference will further the conversation on how market-driven initiatives can create opportunities for economic progress in lower wealth communities.
