Cody provides guidance on regional economics, economic modeling and data-driven insights for external audiences.
Before joining the institute, he was an intern at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in the Productivity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division performing data analytics and researching the demand for artificial intelligence-related skills in European labor markets.
Cody received a Ph.D. in economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He holds a master’s degree in applied economics and bachelor’s degree in economics from UNC-Greensboro.
