My background and my goal during my tenure: I was born and brought up in India. After finishing my electronics engineering, I worked in telecom consulting in various countries throughout South-east Asia while based at Singapore. In an aspiration to become a better leader, I joined the MBA program at Kenan-Flagler Business School in fall 2006. Working with the Kenan Institute, I want to maximize Institute’s value on the experiences of MBA student body. To serve this objective, I intend to focus my energy to involve MBA students to improve and integrate Kenan Institute resources. I will bring student career clubs on a common platform to create an efficient channel to make Kenan Institute’s functions coherent and integrated with goal of student’s professional development.

This summer, I will be working as Strategy and Competitive Intelligence Intern with Qualcomm Incorporate at San Diego, California. My role will be strategic planning, forecasting, and analysis for the company’s wireless semiconductor business unit. I will be responsible for researching the market environment, evaluating distribution models and structures, and identifying the leading players and their inter-relationships especially in Europe.
