Darien Kenner ‘23 is a business administration and public policy double major from Queens, New York. His professional interests include education, politics and a long-term interest in establishing a nonprofit organization. Darien decided to become a Kenan Scholar because the program directly aligns with his pursuit of curating cross-sector collaboration in the public, private and nonprofit sectors to address current societal problems.

In addition to being a Kenan Scholar, Darien is also a UNC Honors Carolina student, an assured admit to Kenan-Flagler Business School and served as a UNC orientation leader. His hobbies include soccer, reading, cooking, politics and engaging conversation.
