Kenan Institute Distinguished Fellow Josh Lerner, Jacob H. Schiff Professor of Investment Banking at Harvard Business School, says the future “can throw lots of different things at you that you don’t necessarily anticipate.”
“Changing businesses is a really hard process,” he says. “The nature of risks have changed, and there are more megarisks, at least in the context of climate, environmental and so forth, so that virtually every business, in some form or another, has the potential to be impacted.”
Lerner is taking part in the institute’s 2024 Grand Challenge, Business Resilience: Navigating Global Uncertainty and Managing Risk.
