The Entrepreneurship Center’s final Luminary Talk highlights Jessica McDonald, a three-time NWSL Champion and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Champion that currently plays forward for the North Carolina Courage and the U.S. Women’s National Team. She is in her eighth professional season and has earned many honors including NWSL Championship MVP in 2018. McDonald is a UNC graduate and played soccer here with two NCAA national champions. She was recently inducted into the Phoenix College Hall of Fame. She spends her free time with her eight-year-old son Jeremiah and focuses on her foundation.
Luminary Talks brings Luminaries (established entrepreneurs, investors, powerful leaders, and role-models with direct ties to the Triangle from across the country) to share insights and advice about what it takes to overcome and thrive through life’s challenges. These fireside chats include authentic conversation about resilience and survival, and how to prepare for what is next.
This final session is hosted by Raleigh Founded, the North Carolina Football Club, the Entrepreneurship Center at Kenan-Flagler and American Underground.
