Angelica Leigh

Doctoral Candidate, UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School

Hello! My name is Angelica Leigh and I am a PhD Candidate in the Organizational Behavior department of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

My research program sits at the intersection of diversity and emotions. My major research stream takes a dynamic approach to studying diversity by examining how events can alter these experiences; in doing so, I explore the often overlooked experiences and identities that may alter the effects of diversity in organizations. My second stream of research employs both quantitative and qualitative methods to examine the influence of events and emotions on work outcomes.

I am also the current President of the Management Doctoral Student Association of the KPMG PhD Project.  An organization dedicated to increasing diversity in organizations by increasing the representation of underrepresented minorities in business school faculty/leadership positions.
