Bin Hu’s research interests include understanding the impact of various structures and incentives on supply chain formation, and designing effective and practically implementable mechanisms to manage supply chains.

He is also interested in the operational impact of technology and product innovation process.

His research has been published in Manufacturing & Service Operations Management.

Dr. Hu currently teaches business analytical applications in the undergraduate program. He taught undergraduate operations management at the University of Michigan before he joined UNC Kenan-Flagler.

Dr. Hu received his doctoral degree in business administration from Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the School of Mathematical Sciences at Peking University.
