Chris Bingham

Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Phillip Hettleman Distinguished Scholar and Area Chair of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School

Chris’ research focuses on organizational learning, adaptation, growth, innovation and strategic decision-making in entrepreneurial firms and firms in dynamic markets. He is an award-winning researcher and teacher, and received the 2015 Award for Excellence in MBA Teaching at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Chris’ industry experience includes work with McKinsey & Company, Deloitte Consulting and Price Waterhouse, as well as consulting work with numerous organizations, including 3M, FedEx, and the U.S. Army.

Chris received his doctorate in strategy, organizations and entrepreneurship from Stanford University. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a master’s degree from Brigham Young University, where he graduated cum laude.
