Organizational behavior professor Richard Blackburn teaches management and organizational behavior, and is associate dean of the Undergraduate Business Program at UNC Kenan-Flagler.
An award-winning teacher, his research interests include organizational and individual creativity and innovation and managing teams in the virtual environment.
He is co-author of the textbook Managing Organizational Behavior.
Dr. Blackburn has worked with a variety of business and non-profit organizations, including Eli Lilly and Company, Caterpillar Tractor Company, CooperTools, Sonoco Products Company, UNC Hospitals, Johnson & Johnson, Grubb Management Company, SunHealth, Inc., Merrill Lynch and the U.S. Postal Service.
He received his PhD and MBA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a BA from Carleton College.
