Background

I grew up in Raleigh before attending The University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Art History. After graduation, I moved to Aspen, Colorado where I explored the outdoors in the little time I managed around work. Initially I analyzed the daily finances and led decision making on merchandise procurement for a small clothing store. Discovering a need to practice and understand customer relations, I transferred to the Sales Department of an art gallery specializing in American Western artwork, where I capitalized on my undergraduate studies.

Career Interests

Between my experiences with financial statements and customer relations, I developed my natural interests in quality investment opportunities and social responsibility. Kenan-Flagler allows me the opportunity to explore and expand my knowledge of how to analyze financial statements and responsibly assess future paths for investing. Additionally, through Kenan-Flagler’s emphasis on leadership and teamwork, I hope to enhance my skills in both areas, enabling me to work effectively within a team network. I also plan on participating in the many international programs Kenan-Flagler offers, including Global Immersion Electives and STAR programs.

Interests and Hobbies

I generally love any activity that allows me to be outside, whether I am hiking, skiing, playing tennis, or fishing. I enjoy traveling, both around the United States and abroad. Specifically, I love discovering cultures through an exploration of local cuisines and art galleries. A born and bred Tar Heel, I share the passion for North Carolina that makes our state so special. During the winter, I am frequently found at Carolina Basketball games with my family.
