Maria Nykyforovych is currently a job market candidate in Accounting. Nykyforovych’s dissertation analyzes information content of goodwill impairment disclosures in firms’ financial statements. Besides firm disclosures, she is also interested in valuation, fair value measurements and effects of accounting regulation. As a research fellow at the Kenan Institute for Private Enterprise, Nykyforovych is involved in private equity and venture capital research.
