Sherrod Crum ’23 is a business administration major from Atlanta, Georgia. His professional interests include consulting and social entrepreneurship that generates a long-term, sustainable impact to bridge economic gaps for minority groups. Sherrod decide to become a Kenan Scholar to develop the skills necessary to establish initiatives that will positively enhance the lives of others, while being surrounded by a community of like-minded peers dedicated to serving the community.

In addition to being a Kenan Scholar, Sherrod is a UNC Honors Carolina student, founder and CEO of Mission: Scholarship, co-founder and president of the Black Entrepreneurship Initiative at UNC and the recipient of the Carolina Scholarship. His hobbies include watching the New Orleans Saints, working out, playing Madden on the PS4 and hanging out with friends.
