Leading the charge for inclusive technology and sales teams, Teena Piccione coaches and advises
people around the globe, while also guiding her own organization through the art of possible. She is
a high-energy, innovative noted speaker and adviser bringing transformational leadership to
organizations across the globe.
Teena, C-Suite Executive, joined Google in 2020, as the Managing Director for Cloud and Customer
Engineering over Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment and Gaming. Prior to that role, she
was the EVP/CIO for RTI International, a non-profit research institute dedicated to improving the
human condition by turning knowledge into practice. In this role, Teena strengthens operational
discipline within Global Technology Solutions to deliver on new capabilities while ensuring RTI meets
all client commitments. Prior to joining RTI International, Teena was SVP/COO at Fidelity
Investments focused on modernization, integrated technology, customer experience and
innovation. She began her career as an international consultant and joined AT&T where she was
appointed Vice President and leader of the Big Data Center of Excellence.
Teena’s contributions to Diversity and Inclusion span a 20+ year career & include awards like IT
Women to Watch in STEM, Women to Watch by Diversity Journal, Top 50 CIO in USA, IT Executive of
the Year at Innotech, Finalist for CIO of year 2020, Diversity Champion Award at AT&T and Women of
Color Community Service of Excellence award. Her awards have been for her hands-on work in
technology and her creation of winning teams.
Teena works actively with Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Rewriting the Code, and
sponsors D&I training. She helped launch Triangle Women in STEM, a program for the Research
Triangle Park region in North Carolina and accelerated university internship collaboration. Teena
sits on advisory committees with NC Tech and NC State University where she works with other
leaders in the region to share learning. Previously, she sat on the Board of SADA. Teena in a mother
of two daughters who code and are in college at High Point University and married to her husband
Paul. In her free time, she enjoys music, reading and gardening. She packs her own sunshine 86,400
seconds a day.
