The third annual Conference on Market-Based Solutions for Reducing Wealth Inequality will bring top researchers and private and public sector leaders to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on April 10-11 to explore business’s role in inclusive economic growth.
The Thursday-Friday conference, presented by the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise and UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, will take place at the Kenan Center on the Kenan-Flagler campus.
Thursday will bring business executives, community leaders and researchers together to highlight case studies and efforts toward reducing wealth inequality in a variety of forms. Themes will include exploration of employee ownership models, justice-involved solutions, upward mobility pathways, entrepreneurship and the benefits of private sector investment.
Friday will feature the conference’s academic segment, when the public will have the opportunity to engage with the latest research on strategies for reducing wealth inequality.
Registration includes both days of the conference.
