The talk is offered through the Dean’s Speaker Series, hosted by the Kenan Institute in partnership with UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School Dean Mary Margaret Frank.

Nate Holobinko is the North America leader for payers, providers, systems and services within Boston Consulting Group’s healthcare practice. He previously led BCG’s healthcare practice for the Western US. Nate has over 20 years of experience helping healthcare companies develop new strategies and transform their business models. He has hands-on experience across the healthcare landscape including national payers, major academic medical centers, integrated health systems, Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans and private equity investors. Nate focuses on the intersection of insurance and care delivery where the rapid evolution in therapeutics, analytics and regulation is creating new opportunities for growth, improved economics and better patient outcomes. In addition to helping many of the nation’s leading healthcare institutions with their overall strategies, he helps lead organizations through their most significant transformations including cost-out at scale, operational stabilization, digital enablement and M&A. Nate has also been a thought leader in the practice, and his perspectives have been featured broadly in the media, including Strategy + Business, Harvard Business Review, BenefitsPro, the World Healthcare Congress, and NIHCM, among others. Prior to joining BCG, Nate was a principal in Booz & Company’s healthcare strategy practice.
