Empowering American Cities Featured in USA Today
Kenan Institute Chief Economist Gerald Cohen and Empowering American Cities, the institute’s collaboration with Fifth Third Bank, are featured in a new USA Today package about cities with growing economies.
The piece highlights how Empowering American Cities, powered by data from the institute’s American Growth Project, “takes a deeper dive into a variety of economic drivers beyond just population increases” in its evaluation of cities’ growth prospects.
The results help public officials, investors and business leaders make decisions that can drive investment and growth in their communities. It’s part of the Kenan Institute’s mission of developing and promoting innovative market-based solutions to vital economic issues.
