Jay is an internationally recognized thought leader in innovations and productivity improvements related to global operations and supply chain management who has held multiple leadership positions at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Jay has published dozens of articles in leading academic journals, and is the author of “Indian Economic Superpower: Fiction or Future?” He was made a POMS Fellow in 2015 by the Production and Operations Management Society, honoring his exceptional intellectual contributions through research and teaching.
Jay received his doctoral and master’s degrees in industrial administration from GSIA (now Tepper School of Business) at Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
