Incubator Guide Launch

Wednesday, June 10 2020

incubator_guide

Understanding the benefits of an incubator is seemingly straightforward. Affordable spaces for budding entrepreneurs, a plethora of offered support services, networking opportunities, and more. However, not all communities are positioned to operate a successful incubator. NCGrowth curated a suite of resources to help leaders determine whether an incubator is feasible in their community. Join us on June 10 as we launch our incubator guide, alongside Hillary Sherman, of EDA, Thom Ruhe, of NC IDEA, and others directly involved in managing existing incubators. We will explore how to assess the feasibility of an incubator, ways to foster strong, resilient small business communities with or without an incubator, and how incubators have been impacted by COVID-19.

Speakers:

  • Hillary Sherman, EDA
  • Thom Ruhe, NC IDEA
  • Will Leimenstoll, KFBS ’20

Moderator(s):

  • Carolyn Fryberger
