CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (April 30, 2024) – Kenan Institute Research Director Camelia Kuhnen will look at the new jobs report and examine how aligned employment and wage growth are (or aren’t) with consumer confidence and consumer sentiment during the institute’s monthly virtual briefing at 9 a.m. EDT this Friday, May 3.
Experts from the institute will appear on the briefing each month and offer commentary in their areas of specialization. Briefings occur on the morning that the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases its employment report, usually the first Friday of each month.
